What this trial studies
This observational study utilizes the Mayo Clinic Upper Digestive Disease Survey to evaluate patients undergoing esophageal reconstruction or treatment for upper digestive diseases. It aims to standardize and validate outcome measures through a series of questionnaires that assess various aspects of patient health and recovery. Participants will complete the survey at specified intervals post-surgery or diagnosis, allowing for the collection of comprehensive data on demographics, clinical outcomes, and symptom management. The findings will contribute to the development of treatment algorithms and enhance pre-operative education for patients.
