What this trial studies
This study evaluates the effectiveness of the ASSIST mini-intervention delivered electronically to adolescents aged 14-20 who are admitted to the Kuopio University Hospital's psychiatric outpatient clinic. Participants will undergo an initial diagnostic interview and complete questionnaires upon admission, followed by a similar assessment six months later to measure changes in substance use behaviors. The goal is to identify and address alcohol and substance abuse issues early in this population.
