What this trial studies

This observational study aims to explore the effectiveness and tolerability of personalized cancer therapies based on molecular tumor profiling in adults with pancreatic cancer. It will analyze patient medical records, both retrospectively and prospectively, to assess how well molecular testing predicts responses to targeted therapies. Key parameters such as tumor response, time to treatment failure, patient survival, and toxicity will be evaluated to understand the potential benefits of individualized treatment approaches.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are adults aged 18 and older with a pathologically confirmed diagnosis of pancreatic cancer.

Not a fit: Patients with primary cancer diagnoses other than pancreatic cancer will not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this study could lead to more effective and tailored treatment options for patients with pancreatic cancer.

How similar studies have performed: Other studies have shown promise in using molecular profiling for personalized cancer therapies, indicating a potential for success in this approach.
