This project will test how common asthma and COPD are among adult workers at the Navanakorn Industrial Zone by asking about breathing symptoms and doing lung function (spirometry) tests.

What this trial studies
This is a cross-sectional study measuring the prevalence of asthma and COPD in adult workers at the Navanakorn Industrial Zone. Participants aged 18 years or older complete a questionnaire on respiratory symptoms and occupational exposures and undergo pulmonary function testing (spirometry). Results will estimate how many workers have asthma or COPD and examine relationships with job types and symptom patterns. The study is conducted through the Faculty of Medicine at Thammasat University in Pathum Thani, Thailand.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal participants are Thai adults aged 18 or older who work in the Navanakorn Industrial Zone and can complete a respiratory questionnaire and perform spirometry.
Not a fit: People under 18, those who do not work at the industrial zone, or those unable to perform spirometry are unlikely to gain direct benefit from participating.
