What this trial studies
This study investigates a multi-level approach that utilizes technology-assisted methods to reduce suicidal thoughts and behaviors in Colombian youth. It includes a digital platform for youth and teachers, along with a hybrid mental health training program for teachers. The study employs a hybrid-type 1 implementation-effectiveness stepped wedge pilot trial design, which will evaluate the effectiveness of these interventions within secondary schools in Bogota. Prior to the trial, a needs assessment will be conducted to identify barriers and facilitators to implementation, using both qualitative and quantitative methods.
