Evaluate the Prevalence of Undernutrition in Adult Patients Hospitalized on a Given Day at the Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital (PSL) According to HAS Criteria in 2019 (if Age <70 Years) and 2021 (if Age ≥ 70 Years)
This study is trying to find out how many hospitalized adults at Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital are dealing with malnutrition by using a questionnaire and focus groups to gather information.

What this trial studies
This observational study aims to evaluate the prevalence of malnutrition among adult patients hospitalized at Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital on a specific day. It utilizes a malnutrition questionnaire to gather data according to the criteria set by the High Authority for Health for different age groups. The study also incorporates focus groups to gain deeper insights into the management of malnutrition in this setting. The findings will help update the understanding of malnutrition prevalence since the last survey conducted in 2015.

Good fit: Ideal candidates include adults aged 18 years and older who have been hospitalized for at least two days in selected departments of Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital.
Not a fit: Patients in intensive care units, those at the end of life, or with communication barriers will not benefit from this study.

Eligibility criteria

Inclusion Criteria: * Age ≥ 18 years * Hospitalized for at least 2 days in a Pitié Salpêtrière department of the 8 selected DMUs. * Patient informed and not objecting to participation in the study. Exclusion Criteria: * Be hospitalized in a PRM, SMR, radiotherapy or adult psychiatry department * Be hospitalized in an intensive care or resuscitation unit of the 8 selected DMU * Be at the end of life, as determined by the referring clinician * Have a communication barrier preventing the collection of declarative data * Pregnancy in progress; 6. Patient under guardianship.
