What this trial studies
This pilot study evaluates the feasibility, acceptability, and efficacy of a Norwegian adaptation of the Honest Open Proud program for adults with psychotic and bipolar disorders in an outpatient setting. The program aims to assist individuals in making informed decisions about disclosing their mental health challenges, addressing the stigma associated with these conditions. By facilitating peer support and strategic disclosure, the intervention seeks to improve mental health outcomes and reduce social isolation. Participants will engage in group-based sessions led by trained facilitators, focusing on the complexities of stigma and disclosure.
