What this trial studies
This study aims to develop and test an intervention designed to reduce the risk of pressure ulcers, malnutrition, poor oral health, and falls among older individuals in nursing homes. It involves workshops with nurse aides, registered nurses, and managers from participating nursing homes to collaboratively create and implement preventive care strategies. The study employs a cluster randomization approach, where only those in the intervention group will participate in the workshops and apply the developed intervention, while the control group continues with standard care. Data will be collected through discussions and documentation during the workshops, which will be analyzed to assess the effectiveness of the intervention.
