What this trial studies
This clinical trial aims to enhance patient engagement in the Collaborative Care Model (CoCM) for anxiety and depression by integrating patients' personal goals and concerns into the treatment process. Participants will complete pre-visit questionnaires that will be used to create a visual dashboard for clinicians, allowing for a more tailored and holistic approach to care. The study will compare the effectiveness of this enhanced collaborative care with traditional methods, focusing on patient and clinician satisfaction. By addressing the limitations of current CoCM practices, the trial seeks to improve treatment outcomes and patient motivation.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates are adults enrolled in the Collaborative Care Model at Dartmouth Health who are experiencing anxiety or depression.
Not a fit: Patients not enrolled in the Collaborative Care Model at Dartmouth Health will not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this approach could lead to improved patient engagement and satisfaction in mental health care.
How similar studies have performed: Other studies have shown promise in enhancing patient engagement through personalized care approaches, making this a potentially impactful but not entirely novel approach.
