What this trial studies

Adults aged 18–65 who smoke at least five cigarettes per day and are motivated to quit will use AI Molar Mind on a smartphone or computer to receive automated oral health evaluations and personalized feedback intended to motivate quitting. Pregnant people, individuals with severe psychiatric conditions, and those already using other cessation therapies are excluded. The intervention is delivered through the Faculty of Dentistry at Fayoum University and outcomes will track smoking cessation and changes in oral health over the follow-up period.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Adults 18–65 who smoke ≥5 cigarettes per day, are motivated to quit, and have access to a smartphone or computer are ideal candidates.

Not a fit: People who are pregnant, have severe psychiatric conditions, or are already using other smoking cessation therapies may not receive benefit from this intervention.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this tool could boost quit rates by using visible, personalized oral health feedback to motivate behavioral change.

How similar studies have performed: Digital and AI-based cessation tools have shown promise in prior studies, but using dental health evaluations as the main motivator is relatively novel.
