Registry for inherited ventricular arrhythmias in China
China Inherited Ventricular Arrhythmias Registry, a Multicenter, Observational and Prospective Study
This study is trying to understand how genetic factors affect dangerous heart rhythm problems in people with inherited conditions like Brugada syndrome and Long QT syndrome by collecting health information from 500 participants across China.

What this trial studies
This observational, prospective, multi-center registry aims to build a risk stratification for malignant inherited ventricular arrhythmias, including conditions like Brugada syndrome and Long QT syndrome. The study will recruit 500 participants from 10 centers across China, collecting clinical data from medical records and blood samples for genetic analysis. Participants will be followed up every six months to monitor their condition and treatment outcomes. The goal is to explore the correlation between genotype and phenotype to aid in molecular diagnosis and risk stratification.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates include individuals diagnosed with Brugada syndrome, Long QT syndrome, Short QT syndrome, Early repolarization syndrome, or Catecholaminergic polymorphic ventricular tachycardia.
Not a fit: Patients currently enrolled in other clinical trials may not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this study could lead to improved risk assessment and management strategies for patients with inherited ventricular arrhythmias.
How similar studies have performed: Other studies have shown success in similar approaches to risk stratification and genetic analysis in inherited arrhythmias, indicating a promising avenue for this research.
