What this trial studies
This study evaluates the effectiveness of natural psychotherapy in treating obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) by examining cognitive functions, emotional states, and other relevant indicators in patients. It employs advanced techniques such as EEG and fMRI to investigate the underlying pathological mechanisms of OCD. The goal is to assess the therapeutic effects of natural psychotherapy on cognitive impairments, mood disturbances, and sleep issues associated with neurosis, ultimately providing a scientific basis for rehabilitation strategies.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates are individuals aged 15-60 with a diagnosis of obsessive-compulsive disorder lasting at least 12 months.
Not a fit: Patients with significant physical diseases or a history of substance abuse may not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this approach could offer a novel and effective treatment option for patients suffering from obsessive-compulsive disorder.
How similar studies have performed: While there is ongoing research into psychotherapy for OCD, this specific approach using natural psychotherapy and advanced imaging techniques is relatively novel.
