What this trial studies

The Canadian Network for Autoimmune Liver Disease (CaNAL) is a longitudinal observational cohort study that aims to create a comprehensive registry of patients diagnosed with Primary Biliary Cholangitis (PBC), Autoimmune Hepatitis (AIH), or overlap syndrome. By collecting and analyzing patient data from major Canadian medical centers, the study seeks to enhance understanding of these rare and progressive liver diseases. The focus is on high-quality long-term follow-up, which will provide valuable insights into patient characteristics and disease progression over time.
