What this trial studies
This study aims to identify prognostic predictors for cerebrovascular diseases by systematically collecting data from various stages of patient care, including hospitalization, neurorehabilitation, outpatient visits, and day hospital admissions. By gathering extensive data across multiple facilities, the study seeks to establish causal links and identify factors influencing patient outcomes. The initiative is part of a broader effort by the Ministry of Health to create a network for neuroscience and neurorehabilitation, enhancing the understanding and management of cerebrovascular conditions.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates include individuals diagnosed with cerebrovascular pathology as defined by specific ICD-9 codes.
Not a fit: Patients who have experienced the onset of cerebrovascular disease before January 1, 2016, may not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this study could lead to improved prognostic assessments and treatment strategies for patients with cerebrovascular diseases.
How similar studies have performed: Other studies have shown success in utilizing large-scale data collection to improve understanding and treatment of cerebrovascular diseases.
