What this trial studies

The Multiple Sclerosis Implementation Network (MSIN) is a collaborative registry that links participant electronic health records from multiple providers and institutions. It brings together clinicians, people with MS, advocacy organizations, and researchers in implementation science to identify and spread effective care practices. Participants agree to allow integration of their medical records and may provide additional information to support projects focused on care delivery and outcomes. The registry supports testing and dissemination of innovations aimed at making MS care more consistent and effective across sites.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates are people diagnosed with multiple sclerosis who can comfortably read and speak English and who are willing to allow their health records from participating providers to be included in the registry.

Not a fit: People without MS, those who cannot communicate in English, or individuals unwilling to share medical records are unlikely to benefit from or be eligible for this registry.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, the registry could speed uptake of best practices across clinics and improve health outcomes and quality of life for people with MS.

How similar studies have performed: Other disease registries and MS-focused implementation projects have helped identify care gaps and improve practice patterns, so this approach builds on established methods.
