What this trial studies
The Neurocognitive Study for the Aging (NEUROAGE) investigates how aging affects neurocognitive abilities such as attention, memory, and executive functioning in adults aged 40 and older. It includes a hierarchical training program aimed at improving cognitive abilities in individuals with Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) and a group intervention focusing on cognitive and psychosocial skills. Over 1000 participants have been recruited to explore the relationship between aging and cognitive decline, as well as to develop effective cognitive retraining methodologies. The study is led by Professor Fofi Constantinidou at the University of Cyprus.
