What this trial studies
This study evaluates a supported housing system designed to assist individuals suffering from mental disorders in accessing stable housing amidst the challenging rental market in Paris. It involves a comprehensive approach where patients are informed about the study by their psychiatrists, followed by an initial assessment that includes consent, sociodemographic data collection, and standardized evaluations of their mental health and quality of life. Patients will receive annual follow-up assessments to monitor their progress and the impact of housing support on their psychiatric care. The goal is to understand how stable housing can improve the lives of those with mental health issues.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates are individuals currently receiving psychiatric care and benefiting from the supported housing initiative.
Not a fit: Patients who are not currently followed for a psychiatric disorder or who refuse to participate will not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this initiative could significantly improve housing stability and overall quality of life for patients with mental disorders.
