What this trial studies
This cluster randomized controlled trial aims to evaluate the impact of health education interventions on influenza vaccination rates and health literacy among primary school students aged 7 to 12 in Dongguan, China. A total of 3036 students from 20 randomly selected primary schools will participate, with half receiving targeted health education on influenza vaccination and the other half continuing with standard health education. The study will assess differences in vaccination rates and health literacy levels after a 5-month intervention period. Data will be collected through questionnaires and surveillance to measure the effectiveness of the educational approach.
