What this trial studies

This study investigates the effects of foot massage and bed baths on improving sleep quality and reducing fatigue in individuals diagnosed with cancer. Participants will receive either a foot massage or a bed bath, both of which are designed to enhance relaxation and overall well-being. The interventions are conducted by nursing professionals and aim to provide both physical and psychological comfort to the patients. The study seeks to determine the effectiveness of these non-pharmacological approaches in managing symptoms associated with cancer.

Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are adults over 18 years old who have been diagnosed with cancer and are willing to participate.

Not a fit: Patients who are unable to communicate verbally or do not meet the inclusion criteria may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this study could significantly improve the quality of life for cancer patients by enhancing their sleep and reducing fatigue.
