What this trial studies
This study aims to assess the effectiveness of the H.O.O.V.E.S. Healing Intensives Program on Veterans suffering from anxiety, PTSD, and depression. Participants will undergo a series of psychological assessments before, during, and after the healing intensives to measure changes in their mental health. The study will track these changes at multiple time points, including immediately after the sessions and at intervals of 90, 120, and 360 days post-intervention. The goal is to determine if the program leads to statistically significant improvements in the participants' psychological well-being.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are Veterans who have served in the military and are experiencing mental health challenges.
Not a fit: Patients who are not Veterans or those who do not speak English may not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this program could provide Veterans with effective therapeutic interventions to alleviate symptoms of anxiety, PTSD, and depression.
How similar studies have performed: While there is growing interest in equine-assisted therapies, the specific approach of the H.O.O.V.E.S. program is relatively novel and has not been extensively tested in similar studies.
