What this trial studies
This observational study aims to assess the efficacy of various off-label approaches to prescribing Ketamine for patients with chronic conditions such as chronic pain, depressive disorder, and anxiety disorders. It will explore the impact of different administration methods (IV, IM, SubQ, Sublingual) and the influence of adjunct therapies like psychotherapy and music therapy on treatment outcomes. Additionally, the study will examine the relationship between Ketamine treatment and suicidal ideation, focusing on how chronic issues may improve with this treatment.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are individuals with identifiable chronic conditions who are currently receiving Ketamine treatment.
Not a fit: Patients who are healthy and do not have any chronic conditions will not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this study could provide insights into optimizing Ketamine treatment plans for patients with chronic conditions, potentially improving their quality of life.
How similar studies have performed: While there have been few studies comparing the impact of different Ketamine administration methods, this study's focus on adjunct therapies and their effects on outcomes is relatively novel.
