* Patients between 18 and 60 years
* Signed informed consent
* Ulcerative colitis (UC) patients with active disease
* Crohn's disease (CD) patients with active disease

Exclusion Criteria:

* UC or CD patients in remission
* Patients between 18 and 60 years without informed consent
