What this trial studies
This clinical trial aims to evaluate the effectiveness of a culturally tailored digital resource designed to help American Indian individuals quit smoking. Participants will engage in a remotely conducted randomized controlled trial, receiving support through a smoking cessation program that respects and incorporates their cultural values. The study will assess the impact of this intervention on smoking cessation rates among participants who smoke regularly and are motivated to quit.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates are American Indian adults aged 18 and older who smoke at least three cigarettes per day and are willing to attempt to quit.
Not a fit: Patients who do not identify as American Indian or those who do not have access to a smartphone or tablet may not benefit from this study.

Inclusion Criteria: * AI race based on self-report; * ≥ 18 years of age via photo ID confirmation; * Average smoked cigarettes per day, ≥ 3 in the past 30 days; * considering or willing to make a quit attempt; * self-report having daily access to their own iPhone/Android smartphone or tablet that allows for messaging use; * able to read and speak English. Exclusion Criteria: * None
