What this trial studies

This study compares the effects of core strengthening exercises and motor control training on pain, disability, and endurance in patients suffering from low back pain. It aims to identify which treatment approach is more effective in improving physical function and reducing self-reported pain and disability. By evaluating both physical and self-report outcomes, the study seeks to provide valuable insights for clinicians and patients in selecting the most appropriate treatment option for chronic low back pain.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are individuals aged 25 and above with non-specific chronic low back pain lasting more than three months.

Not a fit: Patients with conditions such as lumbar radiculopathy, structural scoliosis, or those with a body mass of 100kg or more may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this study could help patients find more effective treatment options for managing low back pain.

How similar studies have performed: Other studies have shown varying success with similar approaches, but this specific comparison of core strengthening versus motor control training is relatively novel.
