What this trial studies

This randomized control trial aims to evaluate the effectiveness of core stability exercises combined with cognitive tasks versus general exercises with cognitive tasks in patients suffering from chronic non-specific low back pain. Participants aged 18-50 will undergo 16 training sessions over a period of weeks, focusing on pain reduction, disability improvement, and postural control strategies. The study will assess primary outcomes such as pain and disability, as well as secondary outcomes including quality of life and fear of movement, before and after the intervention and at a three-month follow-up.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates are individuals aged 18-50 with a confirmed diagnosis of chronic non-specific low back pain lasting at least three months.

Not a fit: Patients with radicular pain, neurological signs, or previous spinal surgery may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this approach could significantly reduce pain and disability in patients with chronic low back pain.

How similar studies have performed: Previous studies have shown promising results for exercise-based interventions in managing chronic low back pain, suggesting potential success for this approach.
