What this trial studies

This project aims to create a research database that collects and organizes observational data from routine patient care in a specialist dental practice. It will gather information from patients undergoing dental implant treatments, including their satisfaction levels assessed through the Oral Health Impact Profile (OHIP-14) questionnaire. The data will be used to evaluate treatment outcomes, identify areas for improvement, and contribute to the evidence base in dentistry. Patient consent will be obtained, and all data will be stored anonymously to ensure privacy.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates are adult patients at The Campbell Clinic who are planning to undergo or have undergone specialist dental treatment involving dental implants.

Not a fit: Patients who are unable to understand the patient information sheet or are unwilling to sign the consent form may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this study could improve dental implant treatment outcomes and enhance patient satisfaction.
