What this trial studies
This observational study investigates the capabilities related to diet, physical activity, screening, and knowledge among diabetic adults in Central Florida, focusing on those with and without a history of hospital admissions. The research employs the Capability Approach framework to understand how these factors interact and influence diabetes management and hospital readmissions. Data will be collected through surveys and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling to explore relationships between assessed capabilities and health outcomes, aiming to inform targeted interventions for better diabetes management.
