What this trial studies
This project evaluates the 5 Ways to Wellbeing course, designed to enhance wellbeing and support individuals facing health challenges in Norway. The course targets individuals with, or at high risk of, chronic diseases and aims to promote health behavior changes and coping strategies. Participants will be recruited from Healthy Life Centres and NAV centres, with a total of 500 individuals expected to enroll. The study will compare the effects of the course against control groups using quantitative methods to assess its impact on wellbeing and cost-effectiveness.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates include individuals with chronic diseases or those at high risk who require support in managing their health.
Not a fit: Patients with severe mental illness or impaired cognitive functioning may not benefit from this course.

Inclusion Criteria: * individuals with, or at high risk of disease, who need support in health behaviour change and in coping with health problems and chronic disease. * individuals on sick leave, work assessment allowance (AAP) and disability pension Exclusion Criteria: * Severe mental illhealth * impaired cognitive functioning
