What this trial studies
This observational study aims to explore the experiences of both patients and physicians regarding medical acupuncture. Through qualitative interviews, participants will share their perspectives from the point of diagnosis or training to the present, focusing on their treatment journey. The study will utilize a modified Lifeline Interview Method and Retrospective Interview Technique to gather narrative data, which will be analyzed for thematic saturation. The interviews will be conducted one-on-one and will last approximately 90 minutes, allowing for in-depth exploration of experiences.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates include Department of Defense beneficiaries aged 18 and older who have received acupuncture.
Not a fit: Patients who have not received acupuncture or are under 18 years old may not benefit from this study.

Inclusion: * Male and female Department of Defense beneficiaries, age 18 years or older, who have received acupuncture OR * Male and female acupuncture providers
