What this trial studies

This observational study aims to investigate the neuro-orthopedic disorders that occur during aging in patients with neuromotor disabilities. It will collect data from both inpatient and outpatient subjects treated in a specialized Neuro Orthopaedic Unit, focusing on their clinical, radiological, biological, and physiological assessments. The study seeks to describe the evolution of these disorders, their functional impacts, associated comorbidities, and the therapeutic strategies employed. By analyzing existing medical records, the study will provide insights into the long-term effects of treatments on this patient population.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are adults aged 18 and older with a diagnosed neuromotor disability receiving care in the Neuro Orthopaedic Unit.

Not a fit: Patients under court protection will not benefit from this study as they are excluded from participation.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this study could enhance understanding of neuro-orthopedic disorders in aging patients with neuromotor disabilities, leading to improved management strategies.

How similar studies have performed: While this study focuses on a specific patient population, similar observational studies have provided valuable insights into the management of orthopedic disorders in other chronic conditions.
