What this trial studies

This study evaluates the clinical outcomes and quality of life for patients undergoing endovascular repair of complex abdominal aortic aneurysms using custom-made Cook Zenith® Fenestrated AAA Endovascular Grafts. It aims to gather preliminary safety and efficacy data that could inform future studies and product development. The focus is on patients with juxtarenal, suprarenal, and type IV thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysms that meet specific size and growth criteria.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates include adults with juxtarenal, suprarenal, or type IV thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysms that are at least 5.0 cm in diameter or have shown significant growth.

Not a fit: Patients under 18, those with a life expectancy of less than 2 years, or those unable to comply with follow-up may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this approach could significantly improve treatment options and outcomes for patients with complex aortic aneurysms.

How similar studies have performed: Other studies using similar endovascular approaches have shown promising results, indicating potential for success in this area.
