What this trial studies
The Diabetes Registry Graz for Biomarker Research is a prospective cohort study that collects data and biological samples from individuals with type 1 and type 2 diabetes, rare diabetes types, obesity, and dyslipidemia. Participants are recruited from the outpatient clinic at the University Clinic Graz and the Rehabilitation Center St. Radegund. The study aims to identify new biomarkers that can improve risk stratification for cardiovascular diseases in diabetic patients by meticulously phenotyping subjects and following them annually. Blood and urine samples, along with comprehensive medical histories, are collected to facilitate this research.
