What this trial studies
The Parents Together program aims to improve health outcomes for children aged 2-5 years by providing virtual group sessions and coaching calls for parents. Facilitated by a Public Health Nurse, the program focuses on enhancing healthy eating behaviors, physical activity, and sleep, while also fostering strong family relationships. Families will be randomly assigned to either receive the intervention or continue with regular healthcare for a duration of six months. The effectiveness of this approach will be evaluated based on improvements in children's eating and movement behaviors, as well as their overall health and mental well-being.
