What this trial studies
The Fit2Play prospective cohort study investigates the impact of a park-based afterschool program on the fitness and mental health of youth participants. This program includes daily physical activities such as soccer and kickball, along with nutrition education lessons designed to promote heart-healthy lifestyles. Conducted by Duke University in collaboration with Miami-Dade County Parks and Recreation, the program targets children aged 6-14 and is structured to enhance motor skills and social development.
