What this trial studies
This research aims to establish clinical evidence for optimal treatment guidelines for adrenal diseases by utilizing real-world data. The study involves creating both prospective and retrospective patient registries for conditions such as primary aldosteronism, pheochromocytoma, and adrenal cancer. By linking these registries with hospital medical records and public data, the research seeks to generate comprehensive clinical evidence that addresses unmet needs in the management of adrenal disorders. The study is conducted across multiple centers, including Seoul National University Hospital and Asan Medical Center.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are adults aged 19 years or older diagnosed with adrenal gland disorders.
Not a fit: Patients under 19 years old will not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this study could lead to improved treatment guidelines and outcomes for patients with adrenal diseases.
How similar studies have performed: Other studies utilizing real-world data for similar conditions have shown promise, indicating potential for success in this approach.
