What this trial studies
This observational study aims to identify and evaluate health-associated risk factors, particularly focusing on clinical-pharmacological aspects such as polypharmacy and drug interactions. Utilizing telecommunication technology, participants will complete a continuous online survey designed to gather data on self-medication practices, biologically active food supplement intake, and other demographic and behavioral characteristics. The survey is conducted through a specially designed website, with invitations sent via SMS to ensure broad participation across various regions. The findings may contribute to developing a decision support system to manage previously unrecognized risk factors, particularly in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are individuals aged 18 years and older who are willing to participate in an online survey.
Not a fit: Patients under 18 years of age or those unwilling to sign the informed consent form will not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this study could enhance understanding of drug interactions and self-medication, leading to improved patient safety and health outcomes.
How similar studies have performed: While similar studies have explored drug interactions and self-medication, this approach utilizing telecommunication technology for data collection is relatively novel.
