What this trial studies

This study evaluates the long-term effects of online Therapeutic Neuroscience Education (TNE) combined with a 6-week conventional physiotherapy program on individuals with chronic low back pain (CLBP). The approach focuses on educating participants about pain neurophysiology to reduce fear and avoidance behaviors, enhance functionality, and improve treatment satisfaction. Participants will be randomized into two groups to assess the effectiveness of this combined intervention on pain, disability, and overall health outcomes. The study aims to provide a lasting educational resource for managing chronic pain.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates are individuals aged 20-55 with chronic low back pain lasting more than 3 months and a pain score of 3-8.

Not a fit: Patients with other orthopedic or neurological disorders, recent trauma, or those who have undergone lumbar surgery may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this approach could significantly improve pain management and quality of life for patients with chronic low back pain.

How similar studies have performed: While TNE has shown effectiveness in chronic pain conditions, this specific online application is novel and has not been previously tested.
