What this trial studies

This study conducts both retrospective and prospective assessments of children diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. It aims to gather information on diagnosis, treatment, and long-term outcomes, focusing on clinical characteristics, treatment effects, side effects, and remission rates. The study will analyze predictive factors for treatment efficacy and the risk of adverse reactions related to antithyroid medications. It is a non-interventional study, meaning no new treatments will be administered; rather, existing data will be utilized.

Good fit: Ideal candidates are children aged 14 years or younger with a confirmed diagnosis of hyperthyroidism.

Not a fit: Patients who have previously received treatment for hyperthyroidism at other hospitals or have certain medical histories may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters
