What this trial studies

This study aims to collect and analyze data from patients undergoing endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) and endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) at Los Angeles County Hospital. It focuses on understanding the biochemical, radiographic, and clinical predictors of bile duct stones, as well as the management of cholangitis, bile leaks, and gastrointestinal cancers in an underserved population. The study will prospectively record patient presentations, procedural outcomes, and subsequent clinical courses to evaluate the effectiveness of these endoscopic techniques. Additionally, it will compare the results of EUS and ERCP with other imaging methods.

Who should consider this trial

Not a fit: Patients not requiring EUS or ERCP procedures will likely not benefit from this study.

Why it matters
