What this trial studies
TARGET-DERM is a longitudinal observational study focusing on adult and pediatric patients being treated for Atopic Dermatitis and other immune-mediated inflammatory skin conditions (IMISC). The study aims to create a research registry that captures real-world data on the safety and effectiveness of current and future therapies in both academic and community settings. Participants will be followed for up to five years in the EU, while those in the US and Canada may consent to indefinite follow-up.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates include adults and children diagnosed with Atopic Dermatitis or other IMISC who are receiving dermatologic treatment.
Not a fit: Patients currently participating in interventional studies for IMISC treatment may not benefit from this observational study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this study could provide valuable insights into the long-term safety and effectiveness of treatments for patients with IMISC.
How similar studies have performed: Other observational studies have shown success in capturing real-world data for similar conditions, indicating that this approach is both viable and valuable.
