What this trial studies

The ITARECIPE project is a multicenter national registry aimed at studying the diagnosis and progression of chronic pancreatitis in Italy. This observational study will collect data on patients' medical histories and outcomes through an electronic data collection form provided by the sponsor. It will include both newly diagnosed patients and those undergoing follow-up visits, with data collected prospectively and retrospectively within a one-year timeframe. Inclusion Criteria:

* Age \>/= 12 years;
* Diagnosis "definite" or "probable" according to the "M-ANNHEIM" criteria;
* First evidence of diagnosis within 12 months of enrolment.

Exclusion Criteria:

* Age \< 12 years;
* History of known disease with certainty for \> 12 months.
