What this trial studies
This clinical trial aims to evaluate the impact of a mindset management intervention, specifically the Organic Conceptions program, on stress levels in women experiencing infertility. Participants will be randomly assigned to either an intervention group, which will engage in the Organic Conceptions program, or a control group that will not receive any intervention. Over a 16-week period, both groups will complete surveys at three different time points to assess changes in stress levels. The study seeks to determine if the mindset management approach can effectively lower stress in this population.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are women who are new patients at Shady Grove Fertility in Roanoke or Richmond and are experiencing infertility.
Not a fit: Patients who have previously seen a fertility specialist and undergone treatment or are currently using the Organic Conceptions method may not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this intervention could significantly reduce stress levels in women dealing with infertility, potentially improving their overall well-being.
How similar studies have performed: While the specific approach of the Organic Conceptions program may be novel, similar mindset management interventions have shown promise in reducing stress in other populations.
