What this trial studies
This experimental study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of a mindfulness-based meditation intervention in reducing loneliness and enhancing psychophysical well-being among older adults aged 65 and above. Participants will undergo a 12-session program over six weeks, with assessments conducted before and after the intervention to measure changes in loneliness, psychological well-being, and other related factors. Inclusion Criteria: * Understanding of the Italian language * Age ≥ 65 years * No cognitive impairment, as measured by the Addenbrooke's Cognitive Examination (ACE-R) Exclusion Criteria: * Presence of severe mental disorders and/or significant medical conditions * Substance dependence
