What this trial studies
This research project is a prospective population-based cohort study aimed at examining cardiovascular risk factors in three Swiss municipalities. Recruitment began in 2014 in Lostallo/Cama and concluded in 2019, with a total of 496 participants. The study involves a five-year follow-up and plans to start recruitment in a second municipality, Uznach, in 2020. Participants undergo a variety of measurements to gather comprehensive data on cardiovascular health.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are residents of Cama GR, Lostallo GR, or Uznach SG, aged 6 years and older.
Not a fit: Patients who do not reside in the specified municipalities or are unwilling to participate in a long-term study may not benefit from this research.

Inclusion Criteria: * Resident of Cama GR, Lostallo GR, or Uznach SG * Age ≥6 years (no upper age limit), for voluntary blood sample ≥18 years * Willing to participate in long-term study * Written informed consent (in participants ≥6 years and \<18 years signed by parents) Exclusion Criteria: * No exclusion criteria
