What this trial studies
This observational cohort study aims to explore the prevalence, management, and nutritional status of elderly patients aged 65 and older with diabetes in Shanghai and Suzhou. Over a period of ten years, the study will enroll 5,000 participants and collect baseline information, with follow-ups every two years. The primary outcomes will include major adverse cardiovascular events, all-cause mortality, and chronic complications related to diabetes.
