What this trial studies

This is an observational feasibility project at Rambam Health Campus that offers homeopathic consultations within the existing complementary and integrative oncology service. Adult oncology patients who meet eligibility criteria will be invited to a detailed homeopathic interview and follow-up, and investigators will record uptake, reasons for choosing the service, completion of visits, and any logistical barriers. The study will collect basic patient-reported information about experience and tolerability but does not test clinical efficacy. Results will focus on acceptability, integration challenges, and practical implementation metrics to inform future work.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Adults (18+) treated in the Division of Oncology at Rambam who read and understand Hebrew, have ECOG performance status 0–2, and consent to participate are ideal candidates.

Not a fit: Patients with active psychosis, severe cognitive impairment, frailty or ECOG >2, or other unstable acute medical conditions are unlikely to benefit or be eligible to participate.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, it could provide an additional supportive care option that some patients find helpful for well‑being and symptom coping.

How similar studies have performed: While integrative oncology services commonly include homeopathy in some countries, high‑quality evidence of clinical benefit in cancer patients is limited, so feasibility work like this remains relatively novel in the Israeli comprehensive cancer center setting.
