What this trial studies
This project focuses on enhancing neuropsychological diagnostics by developing and evaluating new psychometric tests for clinical and forensic settings. It aims to create tools that can be administered remotely and assess various cognitive functions in individuals with neurological and psychiatric disorders. The study will involve a sample of neurologically healthy individuals from the Italian population to calibrate these tests and evaluate their effectiveness over time.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates include individuals with clinical diagnoses of neurological or psychiatric disorders.
Not a fit: Patients with brain disorders or severe medical conditions may not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this study could lead to more accurate and accessible diagnostic tools for cognitive impairment and psychiatric disorders.
How similar studies have performed: While there have been advancements in neuropsychological testing, this specific approach to integrating modern tools in both clinical and forensic contexts is relatively novel.
