What this trial studies

This observational study investigates the relationship between adherence to the Mediterranean diet and oral health outcomes in children aged 3 to 14. It aims to determine if a diet rich in unsaturated fatty acids, dietary fiber, and antioxidants can reduce the incidence of dental caries and improve gum health. The study will assess dietary habits and their potential protective effects against periodontal diseases and tooth decay. By analyzing these factors, the research seeks to provide insights into how nutrition influences children's oral health.
