Evaluating child development from different endometrial preparation methods in IVF/ICSI
Development of IVF/ICSI Children Born From Frozen Embryo Transfer Cycles With Different Endometrial Preparation Protocols: Follow-up of a Randomized Controlled Trial

What this trial studies
This observational study aims to assess the long-term physical, mental, and motor development of children born from various endometrial preparation protocols used in frozen embryo transfer, specifically focusing on natural, modified natural, and artificial cycles. Building on findings from a previous randomized controlled trial, the study will utilize The Ages & Stages Questionnaires® to evaluate developmental outcomes up to 24 months after birth. The goal is to provide insights into the safety and efficacy of these preparation regimens on the health of IVF/ICSI children.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates include live IVF/ICSI babies born from frozen embryo transfers using the specified endometrial preparation methods.
Not a fit: Patients who have experienced the death of their baby before 24 months will not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this study could enhance understanding of the safest endometrial preparation protocols, potentially leading to improved health outcomes for IVF/ICSI children.
How similar studies have performed: While this study builds on previous research, it focuses on a novel aspect of child development related to different endometrial preparation protocols, which has not been extensively studied.
