What this trial studies
This study aims to develop and evaluate an educational intervention program designed to enhance the knowledge, attitudes, and practices of dietitians working with chronic kidney disease (CKD) patients in public hospitals in Saudi Arabia. A cluster randomized controlled trial will involve 100 dietitians, divided into intervention and control groups, to assess the effectiveness of a five-week educational program covering various aspects of renal nutrition. The program will utilize diverse teaching methods, including lectures, workshops, and case studies, and will be delivered both in-person and online. Data will be collected through direct interviews to evaluate the impact of the intervention on dietitians' competencies in renal nutrition.
